March 2009 – Disabled porn websites

Wikileaks presented a list of 2395 websites, which were disabled by the government due to its pornographic content.

Juli 2009 – Internals of Kaupthing-Bank

Internal documents of the Kaupthing-Bank from Iceland were being found on wikileaks.org. These documents inspire the discussion of the banking- and financial crisis in Iceland.

November 2009 – Text messages from 9/11

Iris\\\\\\\\” More than half a million pager messages like this were published by Wikileaks in November 2009. All these messages were send on September 11 2001. They show how the people reacted on the terror attack. Furthermore are there many reports of the NYPD and NYFD. Who collected these messages and send them to Wikileaks is unknown.

November 26^th 2009 – Revelation of the German Government contract

Wikileaks announced the 17,000 pages contract of the German Government and the operator of Toll Collect. One can find in that contract that the German Read-Green Government negotiated badly with the operator due to promising a rate of return, which was too high.

December 2009 – Kundus Affaire

A report by the military police showed that two fuel tankers were attacked by German airstrikes. On this basis the former German minister of defense Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg released the former general secretary Wolfgang Schneiderhan and permanent secretary Peter Wichert.

December 24^th 2009 – Wikileaks Shut down

Wikileaks.org is not available anymore. The operator wrote via Twitter “We have to scare up some money to solve our financial problems by January 6^th. The organization needed about € 150,000 but got all the money February 3^rd 2010.
